What happens here

Carefully place the Aquabasin (water reservoir) into the excavated pit. Use a level to ensure the basin is perfectly level from side-to-side and 1.5 to 2 inches below the adjacent viewing area (patio or ground level). Install the bulkhead fittings: ensure the thick rubber gasket is placed on the inside (water-touching side) of the basin wall, and the flat gasket is on the outside. Apply silicone sealant around the threads before tightening the fitting securely with a wrench, turning counter-clockwise due to reverse threads. This creates a watertight connection for the pump.

Goal: Create a watertight and level water collection reservoir
