What happens here
Position the waterfall spillway unit at the very top of your waterfall mound. Guide the flexible pump hose into the back of the spillway. Once the spillway is in its final place, pull the liner up to it and mark the exact shape of the spillway's water outlet on the liner. Cut a small hole (e.g., a cross-cut or small circle) inside the marked area and then carefully expand it to fit snugly around the spillway's connection point. Attach the connecting piece from the spillway through the liner to complete the water path.
Goal: Direct water flow from the pump into the waterfall
Tools and materials
- Flexible Corrugated Hose — Connecting the pump to the waterfall spillway, allowing water to flow upwards
- Scissors/Utility Knife — Cutting the EPDM liner to accommodate the spillway connection
- Waterfall Spillway Aquascape — The component that disperses water to start the waterfall cascade, often included in a kit
