Lay the EPDM pond liner over the entire waterfall area, ensuring it covers all the rocks and extends down into the Aquabasin. Fold the excess liner back from the waterfall channel and backfill around the main rock structure with sand up to the desired level. It is crucial to ensure the sand does not go above the level of the spillway stone. This backfilling secures the liner, creates gentle slopes, and prevents sand from washing into the basin when the waterfall is operational.
