What happens here

To counteract the wet, muddy structural fill, a new load of drier sand is brought in. The sand, despite not having a 'binding agent' as initially thought (due to a verbal error by the narrator), is used to mix with the clay-heavy muddy soil to balance its properties and create a more workable fill. The Kubota compact track loader uses its tracks and bucket to thoroughly mix the different soil types. Once mixed, the machine repeatedly drives over the backfilled areas, performing compression compaction to ensure the soil is densely packed and stable, which is crucial for preventing future settling and structural problems.

Goal: To address the muddy soil, dry sand is introduced and mixed with the existing wet fill inside and outside the pool. The compact track loader then performs compression compaction to ensure the backfilled soil is tightly packed and stable.

let's get technical this is the kind of soil coming out of the truck that we typically like to use and it's drawn from the same pile as the blacker stuff but sam said we're going to bring in sand which has a little bit more of a binding agent which is actually not correct sand doesn't have a binding agent the lack of the binding agent will help balance out the clay that's in the blacker soil so in a case like this we can take little bits of that darker soil and start to mix it in with our better soil to come up with something that's actually usable [Music] [Applause] [Music]
