What happens here

With the third screw head now stripping, various other tools are attempted. A #1 and #2 Phillips screwdriver are tried to find a better fit, but both fail. An impact driver with pliers for grip is also used, but this only results in completely stripping the screw head.

Goal: Remove the stripped screw

Tools and materials

  • Impact Driver Ryobi — Applying high torque and impact to try and break the screw loose
  • Phillips Screwdriver Klein Tools — Attempting to find a bit that will grip the stripping screw head
