What happens here

This project details how to securely fix a loose outdoor hose bib on a brick wall using construction adhesive. This method avoids the need for drilling into the masonry, which can be risky and potentially cause damage. The process involves inspecting the plumbing, applying adhesive into the gap around the faucet, setting it in place, and allowing it to cure for a strong, permanent bond.

all right so check this out we've got some serious movement going on in this wall and as you can see this is not really a good place to be mounting this either i'm just gonna blow the wall out if i do that so we're gonna go with a different kind of fix here if you have a hose bib on a brick wall like this well this just might be your solution so come along let's get to fixing so the hose bib actually has type apex running to it and this pipe is supported by two talons but there still is a little movement so now that we know this has a little bit of play in it and we can pull this out just a little bit and move it around we'll be able to get in there we'll be able to fill this crevice and we'll be able to push it back get it in place and to do that we're going to end up using some of this quick crete i mean i just found this construction adhesive down to the big box store and it says that it's commercial grade and it permanently bonds to concrete wood masonry plastics drywall all kinds of stuff right and so that should give us a nice secure fit that we're looking for without having to try to drill this man because if we did we're just looking for blowouts all right so hopefully this works out for us so luckily i actually had a piece of wire that i could stick down in here get that hooked up and [Music] now we're ready to put this ultra cheap cot gun that doesn't even have a thing to poke down in here right such a bummer but this is going to hook us up and it's going to serve its purpose i just grabbed the wrong one so then all i'm gonna do pull this out and down a little bit and i am actually just gonna squeeze go high get low okay now we'll take this we'll get it pushed back in place get that set up and we're gonna have to put a little bit more because this hole is pretty good size right there a little gaping gap but now we'll just fill in that entire hole get it all wiped up all right so it says the typical cure time for this stuff is one to seven days okay i explained to my friend give it a couple days and then give it a shot and i bet it's good to go it's been pretty warm here lately all right folks so that's how we ended up securing this hose bib on the brick wall right this quick creek construction adhesive right here it does work really well i've used it a few times especially when you're afraid of blowing out a wall right now there is another way that we can secure this and if this doesn't work trust me we're coming back i'm gonna show you an awesome video and i might anyway just for video and instructional purposes i really hope that you guys are enjoying the channel please subscribe click that like button we'd love to have you keep coming back check us out over on facebook we're on facebook instagram i just signed up for tick tock doing some shorts over there um you know we're just trying to spread the word and help people out because that's really what this channel is all about thank you very much and we'll see you again real soon
