SOMETIMES STUCK SHOWER FAUCET HANDLES GET THEIR OWN VIDEO!

What happens here

After removing the old handles, also remove the chrome sleeves (escutcheons). Clean the sleeves with a cleaner and a scouring pad. Also clean the surface of the bathtub around the valves. Once clean, reinstall the sleeves. Apply a bead of clear DAP Kwik Seal Plus around the base of each sleeve where it meets the tub wall to create a waterproof seal. Smooth the bead with your finger and a sponge.

Goal: Prepare for new handle installation
