Retaining Walls - Master Series- steps 1-4
What happens here
After the base material is installed and leveled, it must be thoroughly compacted to achieve maximum density and stability. A plate compactor is used to ensure the angular rock locks firmly into place, creating a solid foundation for the subsequent block layers. This final compaction step before laying blocks is critical for the wall's long-term performance.
Goal: Achieve maximum density and stability of the base layer through compaction.
