Replacing Kitchen Faucet In RV For a Friend!

What happens here

Return to the exterior water hook-up panel. Close the hot and cold low-point drain valves. Turn the water pump back on. Go back inside the RV and turn on the new faucet to purge any air from the lines and check for proper water flow and temperature. While the water is running, check all connections underneath the sink for any leaks. Finally, if there is a slight gap between the deck plate and the countertop, apply a thin bead of clear siliconized acrylic caulk (e.g., DAP Kwik Seal Plus) around the base of the deck plate for an extra seal. Smooth the caulk with your finger for a clean finish.

Goal: Restore water supply, test the faucet for proper operation and leaks, and apply a final sealant if necessary.
