Install Double Wax Rings

What happens here

For this repair, two wax rings are used due to the recessed nature of the old brass flange. Take the first wax ring and carefully press it down into the recessed area of the flange, molding it to conform to the shape and fill any gaps. Ensure the wax completely covers the lip of the flange. Then, take a second wax ring and place it directly on top of the first, pressing down gently to combine them. The goal is to create a thick, continuous wax seal that protrudes above the flange and will make solid contact with the toilet's base, ensuring a tight seal.
