Clean Flange & Install New Bolts

What happens here

With the toilet removed, clean the exposed floor flange thoroughly. Use paper towels to wipe away all traces of the old wax ring and any other debris. Ensure the flange surface is completely free of wax and residue. After cleaning, remove any old, broken, or short toilet bolts from the flange. Insert new, longer toilet bolts into the slots on the flange, ensuring they are properly oriented and securely seated.

Goal: Prepare the toilet flange for a new wax ring and secure mounting.
