Turn Off Water and Disconnect Hoses

What happens here

Begin the installation by first placing a towel or bucket on the floor beneath the hot and cold water supply valves to catch any residual water. Then, locate and fully turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves to the washing machine. Once the water supply is off, use a pair of channel locks to carefully unscrew and remove the existing washing machine hoses from the supply valves.

Goal: Prepare the washing machine water supply for new connections
