(5,364 characters)hey folks that fix a guy here if you're new to the channel please subscribe click like button check us out I've got all kinds of great tips for you so today we're gonna be installing a handheld toilet sprayer aka the handheld toilet bidet this thing this thing is like getting a fire hose turned on to your bumbum I'm not even kidding it's like getting pressure washed down there if you turn the valve on completely it's gonna blow your mind it is that strong I recommend using about quarter pressure I'm just saying it so this particular one got really high reviews on Amazon decided I'd give it a shot so cup along let's get to fix it [Music] okay the tools of material we'll be using for this job today are going to just be a crescent wrench a period of 420 channel box so it's a mid-sized channel lock and in the toilet sprayer set that we're going to be installing so out of the box we've got the instructions we've got the warranty we've got full refund policy straight got some teflon tape spray your head the little arm attachment that attaches to the toilet tank that will set this on comes with some drywall screws as well sweet the on/off valve for the hose itself so be nice seems like it's pretty heavy brass comes with an extra washer in it and the hose for the sprayer okay so when installing this toilet sprayer assembly the first thing we're gonna do is we're going to shut the water off and then we're going to disconnect the top of the supply line right here from the bottom of the fill valve so just put a towel down there's gonna be a little bit of water so now this is off we're gonna go ahead we're gonna take this valve there's a black gasket in here just make sure that gaskets on there and we're gonna go ahead and we're just gonna tighten this up on there make sure you don't cross thread it you could always start it backwards so if you you put it up to it you go counterclockwise a little bit once you feel it starting the other way just turn it clockwise get it adjusted to where you want it guess we'll have it in the front we'll just take the adjustable jaw wrench hold this in place and we'll tighten this you can kind of hear it squeaking together there and so it's good to roll will screw the supply line back to the bottom of this one and it's going to be up to you if you want to use teflon on these I personally when it comes to compression joints I don't use teflon on them so you can just go hand tight with that for the supply lines hop and that should be good and that will grab the sprayer hose okay so we've got the sprayer hose here you're just going to unscrew these little protectors and you can see there's already a gasket inside there this whole unit everything came with extra gaskets so in case something's leaking or you accidentally pinched something you can replace a gasket so then you're just going to take this one and you're just going to go right here to the to the back of this unit and just once again take your adjustable wrench and tighten that bad puppy up so you can see that I'm turning this wrench from one side to the other because if you get into tight spaces and you can't go this way and sometimes without having to readjust you can just flip an adjustable jaw over and it's actually gonna give you the space that you need it's a pretty sweet design for that so now the valve side of the hose is in we'll just take off this side of the hose and attach the sprayer head once again make sure the gaskets in there now we'll turn this one on we've got the valve water hooked up now okay so apparently this is the off position and this is the on position so we'll go ahead and turn it on everything's looking good one more thing I want to make you aware of your flexible supply line mine's not but a couple years old but if you go to install this in your flex line is bad or you have something that looks super old you might want to get a new one while you're installing this talking about Cleanse in the canyon yeah that is no joke okay well so it looks like we're in for a real treat shine this puppy out so last but not least on the toilet we're just gonna take the lid off let's try right down here pretty simple install pretty highly rated on Amazon I'll post an affiliate link in the description box below I totally would say if you're just looking for a inexpensive kind of self bidet for your bathroom this would definitely qualify for that or if you're looking for a water cannon you're bathroom this would definitely qualify for that as well okay so already I'm seeing this gun get turned into a bath toy and I'm a little nervous because this thing is stronger than any sprayer that I've ever seen in a shower Artie's got a wide stance took him a little while to go down but everybody huh they went down fast sit style that's how you install a handheld toilet sprayer this thing really has got some power if you don't end up using it to clean your bum you could use it to have a water fight with your kids in the bathtub and you're always gonna win they might splash you a little bit but you can take them down I'm just saying I really hope this video helps somebody that's looking for a toilet paper alternative right now please subscribe to the channel click the like button share us with your friends and family it would be greatly appreciated thank you very much and have a great day
