Quick Fix For Shower Not Getting Hot!
What happens here
After removing the handle, you will see a black plastic component, often marked with a part number like '109113', secured by a Phillips head screw. This is the main temperature limit stop. Before unscrewing it, firmly hold this black plastic piece in place and rotate it fully clockwise to the 'off' position. This ensures no water will spray out when the screw is removed. Then, use the Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew and remove this black plastic piece.
Goal: Access the adjustable temperature limit ring.
