What happens here

This video tests the effectiveness of 'Just-for-Copper Solderless Copper Bonding' adhesive on copper pipe connections. Three different types of connections (a cap, a coupling, and a male adapter) are pre-bonded with the product and then subjected to a hydrostatic pressure test up to approximately 1000 PSI to determine their leak-proof integrity.

Copper glue doesn't work. Well, today we're answering that question. I showed it to you before and now I've got the test. So, come along. Let's get to fixing. Come down here. I put a cap on. This was my original connector right here. So, we got two pieces and then I also put a male adapter down right here. We'll put some water in our hydrostatic tester. I set this up around the corner because I don't have any Plexiglas or anything on this yet. Female adapter swivel head with a washer inside. Now, we're going to open valve one, leave number two shut. We'll reset our highest PSI mark is what this red gauge does. Now, we start pumping. I might need a little bit bigger of a bar here. Pretty close to 1,000 PSI right there. I have to say I'm pretty surprised all three of those joints held up really nice. So, there we have it. Just for copper, said it would do what it's supposed to.
