Painting the exterior of a house. House Painting Tips. How to paint a house fast.

What happens here

The presenter begins by introducing the project: preparing exterior surfaces for painting, specifically tackling peeling wood and blistering siding, which are common issues in places like Boise. He then showcases the necessary tools and materials for the preparation process. These include a painter's 5-in-1 tool, a painter's wire brush (or a barbecue brush as an alternative), Shermax lifetime warranty caulking, XIM Peel Bond latex-based primer, a 3-inch brush for primer application, a Wagner Paint Eater equipped with a grinder for feathering paint edges, and a dripless caulking gun with teeth. A ladder is also mentioned as an essential tool for reaching higher areas.

video, we're going to go over the exterior painting and the prepping process we go through prepping peeling wood and some blistering siding that are common issues here in Boise. In this process, we're going to be using a painters 5 in1 tool. We've got a painters wire brush or a barbecue brush you can get at Sher Williams at Home Depot. We actually use in our prepping process Shermax um lifetime warranty caulking from Sher Williams. The primer we use is XIM peel bond um primer. It's a latex based primer. And we've got a 2 and 12 gallon bucket uh brush here, a 3-in brush that we use for applying the primer. We've got a Wagner paint heater. This paint heater has a grinder on it that actually is designed for peeling paint that actually feathers the edges and knocks off any loose paint. And um we've got a cocking gun right here, a dripless cocking gun with teeth on it. We like them with the teeth and we like them dripless. And we've got a ladder
