Operating a Titan 440i airless sprayer. Airless Sprayer Instructions.

What happens here

For long-term storage, especially in cold conditions, and to prevent paint from settling, flush the system with antifreeze. Pour automobile antifreeze (O'Reilly Antifreeze is shown) into a clean 5-gallon bucket. Place the prime hose into the antifreeze. Turn on the sprayer and run the antifreeze through the system until it visibly comes out of the prime tube. Next, place the spray gun hose into the antifreeze and pull the trigger to spray until antifreeze comes out of the gun. This ensures the entire system is lubricated and protected from freezing and paint settling.

Goal: Prepare the sprayer for storage and prevent freezing/settling.

Tools and materials

What they say

Hide

take a gallon of water and we actually put a little bit of automobile antifreeze into the water. And then we actually run that through our pump. After it's completely clean, we'll stick this into the um automobile antifreeze just like this. And we'll start running antifreeze through the top. And that antifreeze will keep paint and keep um anything inside the pump. It'll keep it from freezing if you have it out in freezing temperatures. And it'll keep paint from settling.
