One of my most fun 'special projects' to date!!

What happens here

With the formwork securely in place, prepare and pour the concrete into the gap between the inner and outer forms. If mixing concrete manually, follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct water-to-mix ratio. Use shovels to carefully deposit the concrete into the forms, ensuring it fills all spaces evenly. As you pour, compact the concrete by gently tapping the forms or using a rebar rod to remove any air pockets. Level the top surface of the concrete with a trowel to create a smooth and even finish for the rim of the fire pit. Allow the concrete to cure according to the manufacturer's recommendations, usually several days, before removing the forms.

Goal: Create the structural concrete base for the fire pit.
