One of my most fun 'special projects' to date!!

What happens here

Once the stone veneer and grouting are complete and the mortar has set, it's time to install the internal components of the fire pit. This typically includes a fire pit insert, which might be a gas burner, and a fire media such as lava rocks or fire glass, as seen in the video. Carefully place these components into the central cavity of the fire pit. After installation, perform a thorough cleanup of the surrounding patio area, using brooms, hoses, and rakes to remove any construction debris, excess mortar, or dust. Ensure the patio is clean and tidy to complete the look of your newly constructed fire pit.

Goal: Complete the fire pit and clean the surrounding area.
