What happens here

The shorter section of the 2-inch PVC pipe is converted into the water filter. Using a DeWalt cordless drill with a 1/2-inch or 9/16-inch drill bit, the presenter drills numerous holes (approximately 100) all around the pipe. The purpose of these perforations is to maximize the surface area for water intake and prevent clogging. After drilling, he thoroughly rubs the pipe to remove any burrs or rough edges and blows out any plastic debris from the inside of the pipe.

Goal: Create a perforated PVC pipe for water filtration.
