What happens here

Matt Maywes presents the components of the Ride Tamer front suspension kit. The kit includes several black metal pieces forming the control arms and various dampener pucks (bushings) of differing hardness, along with bolts and screws for assembly. The presenters begin the initial assembly of the front control arms, attaching the metal plates and inserting rubber bushings into the housing. They secure these components using small bolts.

Goal: Assemble the basic components of the Ride Tamer control arms.

Tools and materials

going to be getting into now before we put this on my machine what are we actually looking at this is a suspension system for just the front correct axles right nothing for the back no just for the front axles uh um trailing arms dampener setups um there's different some some are softer some are harder so you can adjust the ride on it but this is not a universal system it's not a one and you're done you can't just order it and stick it on from one more to another more to another more so you guys actually manufactur these per making model of mower correct correct yep okay so if a guy knows his mower he can just order it through May West yep all right well let's uh let's let's pull my we off let's go find some nasty conditions let's see yeah let's see how it does and then let's install it and go from there sounds good so while the boys start assembling the front control arms I'm going out and scouting some of the worst locations at ny's property that I can find to drive over and luckily I don't have to look very far [Music] [Applause]
