My Wife Wanted Fluted Wood Panels, I don't have a CNC.

What happens here

Measure and cut 1/2 inch maple plywood for the drawer box sides, ensuring each box is 1 inch narrower than its corresponding opening to allow for drawer slides. Cut 1/4 inch plywood for the drawer bottoms. Using a table saw, route a 1/4 inch wide and 1/4 inch deep dado channel along the inside bottom edge of all drawer side pieces. This will create a groove for the drawer bottom to slide into. Additionally, use a router to round over one of the long edges of each drawer side panel; this will be the top edge of the drawer box.

Goal: Cut 1/2 inch maple plywood for drawer box sides and 1/4 inch plywood for bottoms, routing dado channels for the bottoms and rounding over top edges.

building all the drawers I guess drawers typically based off whatever Dimension you're using the width of your drawer has to be an inch smaller than the opening reason why is because every drawer slide that comes out there is half an inch so you have half an inch here half an inch there put it together that's a full inch so I got my Dimensions I'm going to start ripping this half inch Maple plywood uh it's actually a lot cheaper than 3/4 in that's why I don't go with 3/4 inch drawers uh start ripping it down and we'll put to pocket holes obviously and then for the bottom part it's going to be/ Quin plywood cheaper also lighter [Music] so all the pieces are cut for all the 12 drawers by the way now that I think about it I think it's the first time I've ever made that many drawers at once I definitely don't have enough clamps so I took the liberty of rounding over just one side of the edge this will be the top side it'll be a lot easier round it over before they're assembled uh cuz you won't get in a little Nook here the next thing is because the bottom is going to be a/ qu in heet of plywood we need to create a little Channel you can do that two ways either put a DAT stack which is a compilation of blades stacked together in your table saw with one run that will create the thickness or if you just want to do the you know the DIY way the blade that's on your table saw is an e8th of an inch you stack two of them together or make two different passes side by side then you got a whole quarter inch so that's what we're going to do we're going to make one cut and then move it over do another cut [Music] pocket holes are in we're almost ready to start assembling we just need to cut the qu inch bottoms of these drawers they are I these channels are/ qu inch deep uh so to give a little wiggle room I'm basically giving an extra 3/8 so instead of 2/4 making a half doing 38 and I can slide it in and assemble everything a lot of them so let's start cutting that on the table saw we're here
