What happens here
The painter begins by positioning a white interior door, which shows reddish patched areas indicating previously filled dents with Bondo glazing putty, onto a PaintLine PSDRID (ProDryingRack) system. This system allows the door to rotate 360 degrees for easy access to all surfaces. The door is placed within a PaintLine mobile booth with an extension kit, designed to contain overspray. The painter uses an airless spray gun equipped with a TriTech 510 FF Tip, which is a fine finish tip designed for smooth application. Starting with the front surface of the door, the painter applies the first coat of semi-gloss urethane enamel, moving the spray gun in consistent, overlapping passes from top to bottom.
Goal: Set up the door in the spray booth and apply an initial, even coat of paint to the front surface.
