Securing Tape and Handling Corners

What happens here

After the initial section is positioned, continue walking along the baseboard, unrolling more tape while keeping it taut. Maintain the approximately 1/16 inch overlap onto the baseboard. Lightly press the tape down as you go. Once a good length of tape is laid down, go back over the entire taped section and firmly press the tape down with your fingers. This firm pressure helps create a tight seal, preventing paint from bleeding underneath. When you reach an inside corner, carefully bend the tape to conform to the corner, pressing it tightly into the crease with your finger to ensure full adhesion before continuing along the next section of the baseboard.
