Leaking Tub Spout? How to Fix a Dripping Bathtub Faucet FAST (DIY Plumbing Repair)

What happens here

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screw holding the hot water handle in place, and then pull the handle off. Next, use an adjustable wrench, specifically a Knipex Pliers Wrench, to carefully unscrew and remove the chrome escutcheon (trim plate) that covers the faucet's internal components. This reveals the valve stem and a white plastic extension piece. Repeat the entire process for the cold water handle and its escutcheon.

Goal: Gain access to the faucet's internal valve stems.
