Leaking Tub Spout? How to Fix a Dripping Bathtub Faucet FAST (DIY Plumbing Repair)

What happens here

With the escutcheons removed, the internal valve stems are visible. Use a pair of slip-joint pliers (Knipex Pliers Wrench) to grip the white plastic portion of the hot water valve stem. Carefully twist counter-clockwise and pull it out of the faucet body. Inspect the removed stem. Often, the small rubber washer and spring that cause the drip are located inside the faucet body, behind the stem. Use a small Allen wrench to retrieve these components if they did not come out with the stem. Examine the rubber washer for flattening or nicks. Repeat this extraction for the cold water valve stem as well. The creator notes that these particular stems are 'Danco 3S-8H/C hot/cold stem' which is an upgrade.

Goal: Remove the old valve stems, springs, and washers for replacement and identify necessary replacement parts.
