Just waiting on the @barnes4wd one ton swap kit to come back in stock!

What happens here

Once the components are securely tack-welded, proceed with applying continuous weld seams around the joint. Rotate the workpiece as necessary to maintain a comfortable and consistent welding position, ensuring uniform heat distribution and full penetration. Apply multiple passes if required to build up the weld for maximum strength, making sure each pass fuses properly with the previous one and the base metal. The video shows the rotation of the workpiece during the welding process to cover the entire circumference of the joint.

Goal: Create a strong and permanent bond between components

Tools and materials

  • Welding Gloves — Protecting hands from heat and sparks
  • Welding Helmet — Protecting the eyes and face during welding
  • Welding Machine — Applying continuous weld beads
  • Shielding Gas — Protecting the weld pool from atmospheric contamination
  • Welding Electrode/Wire — Building up the weld seam
