What happens here

This project provides step-by-step instructions for correctly wiring an air compressor. It covers selecting the appropriate wire gauge based on the motor's amperage, connecting the power cable to the motor's Line 1, Line 2, and ground terminals, wiring the pressure switch to both the motor and the main power plug, and finally, assembling the 30-amp NEMA 6-30P power plug with the correct connections.

What up? Just doing the compressor build tonight. Finishing up the wiring. So, I picked up some 10 gauge S O W cable. S O W stands for service oil water. Um, water weather. It's a protective cable that you see on all on all basically all power cords, large power cords like this. Um, the reason I figured out that it's 10 gauge is I looked at my my amps here. Focus. Looked at my amps here and it's 23. So, I just Googled best cord for 23 amps. 10 gauge is what it was. I went with a 10T cord on it cuz my breaker panel's a little far away. But basically on this motor you have a line one, line two, and it tells you here line one, line two, black to line one, white to line two, and then your ground screws up here. Come down here, line one, line two. It doesn't matter which way you go. And this one actually tell you motor and plug. Um, so this one's going to come to my motor. This one's going to come to my plug. And then your grounds, we just twisted them together. um should be good to go. Same with inside the plug here. So, you have line one, line two, and ground. Simple as that. This is a 30 amp. It's going to be going on a 30 amp breaker. Um so, yeah, stay tuned for the full video when I get this thing fired up. I got a little bit more to do yet, but I'll catch you guys.
