Installing A Waterproof Ceiling On a Deck!

What happens here

Determine the layout for the underdeck panels, typically starting from one side and working across. The panels are 12 inches on center. Measure the required length for each panel. Use a utility knife to score the panel material along the cut line, then snap it to size. Begin installing the panels by inserting the first panel into the wall trim. Push the panel up until it snaps into place, interlocking with the previously installed main rail or wall trim. Secure the panel using screws with rubber gaskets, driving them through the designated holes into the pitch rails. The rubber gasket ensures a watertight seal. Ensure consistent pitch and tight interlocking of panels for optimal drainage. Continue this process across the entire underdeck area.

Goal: Measure, cut, and install the underdeck panels into the wall trim and onto the pitch rails, interlocking them and securing with rubber-gasketed screws.
