Installing A Clear PERGOLA COVER, and Building The Secret Garden!

What happens here

The installation of the polycarbonate roof begins by attaching the aluminum bottom track profiles directly onto the wooden purlins of the pergola. This step is critical for proper panel alignment and water sealing. A custom-cut wooden spacer bar, precisely 22 5/8 inches long, is used to ensure consistent and accurate spacing between each track. This meticulous approach guarantees that the subsequent panels will fit snugly and the roof will be uniform. The bottom profiles are secured with screws, driven into the purlins.

Goal: The bottom aluminum track profiles are screwed onto the pergola purlins, ensuring precise 22 5/8" spacing using a custom spacer bar.
