I Built a $5,000 Mudroom for Under $1,700

What happens here

On Day 6, the mudroom units are transported to the cabin for installation despite snowy conditions, using a dolly. Inside the mudroom, begin by carefully removing the existing baseboards where the mudroom units will be placed. Use Milescraft KneeBlades, which are knee pads with wheels, to move around easily and comfortably while working on the floor. Install the base units first, securing them to the wall and to each other. Use filler pieces on the sides to ensure a tight, custom fit. Once the base units are secure, carefully lift and place the painted locker and upper cabinet units on top, aligning them with the base.

Goal: Securely install all mudroom components and the live-edge bench
