How Wood Fence Posts are Made

What happens here

As the newly shaped posts exit the lathe, they undergo a quality control check. Workers stationed at the end of the line visually inspect each post. If a post still has residual bark or an irregular shape, it is manually pushed aside to be either re-processed through the lathe (for a smaller post) or chipped for bio-fuel. All posts that meet the quality standards proceed to the next stage, which involves another cut-off saw to ensure perfectly uniform lengths and clean ends.

Goal: Inspect and finalize the shape and length of the posts.
