This 50% overlap ensures that you apply two coats of paint to every area, creating a uniform, durable, and fully opaque finish. Always release the trigger of the spray gun at your predetermined start and stop points to conserve paint and prevent excessive buildup at the ends of your passes. Maintain a steady hand and consistent speed while moving the gun horizontally across the surface.
