K Painting. In this video, we're going to show you how to properly pray spray cottage lap sighting. In this uh task, we're going to be using um an 18-in um or this is actually a 24-in gun extension. We've got a Rackex 515 tip on here. We're using a cardboard shield and holder. This is I typically when I'm spraying always got a cardboard shield and holder that I use to help shield off the bottom to keep any overspray off my footings. We got a drop to set down here just in case anything drips on the concrete. Um we don't want to get any drips on the concrete. We got our 695 setup over there on the side. And I've got a massive respirator I always use while I'm spraying. and we're going to take and spray and we're going to typically look for um good start and stop points because you don't want to start and stop in the middle of the house. You always want to have logical start and stop points. These are good start and stop points. A corner and a batting board right here coming down the middle. We've got over here this other section. We got a batting board here and a down batting board over here which are good start and stop points. And um it's really good because if you stop in the middle of this section right here and move back that way, you're going to get what we call a holiday. It's going to be a heavy spot or a dry feather spot in the middle. So the best you can, you always want to try to find some good logical start and stop points. When you start to get up high on a ladder, sometimes you that is you can't really do that. So, but you try the best you can. So, we'll start down here. We've already sprayed the bottom, but I'll show you a video. I use a cardboard shield tuck that I need. Do the bottom portion. Drill back and forth. Doing nice from in. I'll actually spray inside. This is a really dark color. So, you got these holes. You want to make sure it's um dark over light. You want to make sure you spray at an angle to get inside those holes. And then when I'm spraying my lap sighting, you want to make sure you get underneath the lip. So when I'm spraying, I'm not spraying straight on. I'm actually spraying at an angle, shooting up an angle. And I always release my trigger at my two start and stop. It actually saves you paint instead of hold it, but you you use more paint doing so. So this Now we got longer start and stop points. So you want to clear a pathway for you to walk. As you can see, as I'm spraying, I'm overlapping myself by 50%. That way, I'm getting twice as much paint on the house. So, water going one way, then I'll overlap at 50% another way. Heat.
