Prepare Equipment and Safety Gear

simple things you're going to need to uh work on spraying the siding of your home is one thing, you're going to need the airless sprayer, but then you're going to need a tip to spray with. and and I got my airless sprayer set up. Got my gun here and I'm going to be spraying the house with a 515 tip. And I typically like a 515 tip to spray the whole exterior. So, I got my gun set up and I like an extension. And using an extension, we keep get extensions in our vans anywhere from 6 in all the way up to 30 in. And the extension is going to make you walk a lot less and make you bend over a lot less. So, get yourself an extension. is going to make your job a lot easier versus just spraying with a gun without an extension. So, I've got a 515 tip. Just going to stick this 515 tip in here. Get it ready to go. I got my sprayer set up over here and it's set up and I typically spray running my sprayer at 2200 PSI. I always like to have a pair of rubber gloves. Just makes it more comfortable. The gun sometimes gets hot in the sun and it's just more comfortable on my hands. I can grip a lot better. I definitely like a two-finger gun, too. I got this thing set up. definitely want to have yourself a cardboard shield and a cardboard shield holder when you're doing your spraying also. And I'll show you that little tool. I'm going to show you some tips and tricks now on spraying this sighting. So, here's a look at my cardboard shield and cardboard shield holder holder. I just use these cardboard shields and I get them from my local paint store. They cost me 50 cents a cardboard and they actually last quite a long time. So, I'm just going to stick in my cardboard shield holder and if I need need it, I usually use it to shield off the footings or to control overspray off the corner of my houses and stuff.
