start and stop points. So, I got a start and stop point right here. So, I'm just going to begin spraying my siding just like that on my start and stop points. And then I'll just work my way down that window. I'll work my way underneath the window. And I typically work from the top of the house to the bottom of the house. I've already sprayed the top up here. I'm going to be working this section down. So, I'm going to continue working right here along this section. And one thing you want to be conscious of is inside you've got little holes where um the lap siding is uh shows holes inside there. You want to make sure if you're using a drastically different color. You got to get the paint shot inside those holes. So I like to get my gun pointed in that direction when I'm finishing that side. And then when I come to this side, I want to finish have my gun point that direction to get inside those holes. So I'm typically spraying just like that. If I can't do that, I'll come back. If I don't get them good enough, I'll just shoot it inside the holes just like that. So, you can shoot it inside these holes just like that. And then I'll start with my large logical starts and stop and begin spraying. Another thing I want to be aware of is my laps. They kind of like roll under and my gun, the angle my gun, you want to be spraying. So it sprays up and underneath those laps. So now I've come to my longer points right here. We're going to be spraying. And then when I get down to the bottom, if I've got footings that I got to shield, that's where I'd use my cardboard shield to shield my footings. And I've got masking down cuz this is a deck. But I typically use my shield and just walk the footings and spray the footings just like that. Now I'm going to work my way all the way down to the bottom. Just like that. And when I'm spraying, I typically want to overlap 50%. So, as I'm going down doing my spray pattern, I'm overlapping 50%. And that will give you the proper mill thickness that you need to get on the house. there's a certain mill thickness you want to get on there to create the warranty that or give you the warranty that the the paint actually manufacturer has on the paint.
