How to replace a window in your car or truck the right way!
What happens here
After the windshield is in place, use a raking tool or a utility knife to carefully clean up any excess urethane adhesive that may have squeezed out around the edges for a neat finish. The urethane adhesive typically requires about 4 hours to cure enough for the vehicle to be safely operated. Finally, reinstall the chrome trim pieces that were removed earlier, pressing them firmly into their clips around the perimeter of the new windshield.
Goal: Complete the windshield installation and allow for proper curing.
