How to replace a window in your car or truck the right way!
What happens here
Use a shop vacuum to thoroughly clean out any accumulated debris, such as leaves, pine needles, and dirt, from the cowl area and around the windshield frame. Then, prepare a spray bottle with water and a few drops of dish soap. Spray the inside perimeter of the windshield glass with this soapy water mixture, as it will act as a lubricant for the cutting process.
Goal: Clear debris and prepare the windshield for cutting.
