Clean and Prime the New Windshield

What happens here

Place the new windshield on a stable stand. Clean any residue or fingerprints from the glass surface, especially around the edges where the adhesive will be applied. Apply a specialized white opaque primer or a black frit band cover to the edges of the new glass where it will meet the urethane. Although this glass is 'primerless', applying an additional primer ensures maximum adhesion and provides a clean, finished look, especially over the frit band.

Goal: Prepare the new windshield for adhesive application.
