How to Repack or Repair A Graco Airless Spray Gun. Graco airless gun repairs.

What happens here

First, drop the small, 'top hat'-shaped component (large end first) from the new packing kit into the gun, followed by the new spring. Screw the spring housing back onto the gun and tighten it securely with the 5/8 inch box wrench. Next, place the new knuckle guard onto the gun. Then, attach the new diffuser (from the kit) through the knuckle guard onto the gun's front. It is critically important to pull and hold the trigger down while screwing on the diffuser to prevent the threads from scoring the end of the needle, which could cause paint leaks during operation.
