How to PAINT a Wood Sign Quick & Easy

What happens here

With the sign fully sealed and dry (three coats), prepare to apply the first background color. The customer desired an off-white/cream metallic color to match their trailer. Carefully mask the edges of the sign using FrogTape. For any curved areas, gently tear the tape into smaller pieces to conform to the shape. Ensure the tape is pressed down firmly to prevent paint bleed. This masking will protect the edges from the cream paint, leaving them unpainted (which will later be painted black).

Goal: Apply the first background color (cream metallic) while protecting the edges.
