Refining the Surface with Fine Sanding

What happens here

After the initial wet sanding, switch to a finer grit 3M sanding sponge to further smooth the area. Lightly dry sand over the entire repair spot and surrounding edges to feather out any remaining ridges and ensure a perfectly smooth transition. If you can still feel slight ridges, wet the fine sanding sponge and perform another round of wet sanding until the surface is completely smooth to the touch.
