HOW TO FIX A PAINT RUN. Painting hacks repairing drips & runs. Fixing paint sags.

What happens here

Upon closer inspection of the paint run on the column, the presenter determines it has a pretty heavy ridge. To make the sanding process easier, he uses a window scraper, also referred to as a razor knife, to carefully scrape off the largest and thickest part of the dried paint run's ridge. This removes significant material before fine-tuning with sanding.

Goal: Remove the thickest part of the dried paint run

looking at this thing, we're actually going to take a window scraper and the run. There's a pretty heavy line on the run. So, we're going to to make the sanding process a lot easier, we're going to scrape off some of the run with this razor knife and then begin the sanding process. So, I've now scraped off the the biggest part of the the run, um the the ridge, kind of the mountain of it. Now, I'm going to begin sanding it.
