Snap the Drywall Core

What happens here

After scoring the front, carefully turn the drywall piece so the scored line is facing away from you. Hold both sides of the drywall with your hands, aligning them along the score. Then, apply firm pressure with your knee to the backside of the drywall, directly along the scored line. This pressure will cause the gypsum core to snap cleanly along the pre-scored line.

Goal: Break the gypsum core of the drywall along the scored line.
