How a freeze dryer works...best snacks ever!

What happens here

Transfer the freeze-dried food from the trays into Mylar bags. Use a wooden spatula to scrape off any blueberries that might be stuck to the tray. Place an oxygen absorber into each bag along with the food. Use a Harvest Right bag sealer (impulse sealer) set to level 3 to double-seal the Mylar bags. Squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing, though the oxygen absorber will handle any remaining oxygen.

Goal: Properly store freeze-dried food for long-term preservation
