What happens here
Once the new springs, seats, and cam/packing (with the correct O-ring) are in place, reassemble the faucet in reverse order. First, place the cup over the cam and packing assembly, ensuring it aligns correctly. Then, gently place the entire assembly back into the faucet body. Use the two-pronged end of the Delta tool to screw the cap back onto the faucet body, tightening it clockwise until it feels snug. Finally, reattach the handle, aligning it with the stem, and tighten the set screw underneath it with the Allen wrench side of the Delta tool. Ensure the handle feels secure and operates smoothly.
Goal: Put the faucet back together with the new components.
