Hand Built in America! Brush Hog Attachment for your tractor!

What happens here

The tour moves to the 'clean area' where hydraulic hoses are assembled. These hoses are custom-made for different tractor configurations. The process involves cutting hydraulic hose from large spools using a hose cutting machine to the precise length required for each tractor model. Once cut, a worker then uses a Gates 'Power Crimp 707' hydraulic crimping machine to securely press fittings onto the ends of the hoses. Each hose and fitting combination is dedicated to a specific tractor type, ensuring proper hydraulic flow and connection.

Goal: Assemble custom hydraulic hoses with fittings for various tractor models

Tools and materials

  • Hose Cutting Machine — Cutting hydraulic hoses to precise lengths
  • Hydraulic Fittings — Connecting hoses to the tractor's hydraulic system
  • Hydraulic Hoses — To carry hydraulic fluid for the brush cutter
  • Safety Gloves — Protecting hands during assembly

so guys if this is your first time to the channel welcome to the YouTube channel I'm Josh Stoney Ridge farmer we have a 200 acre farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and we've been working with Land Shark if you didn't catch that video there'll be a link right here you can check that out if you'd like to see that first before we tour the factory or there'll be a link at the end of the video description showing this machine at work on our farm so where we're at right now is what I would call the clean area so all these are hydraulic fittings and all these hydraulic fittings fit different configurations for different tractors right now we're getting ready to press on a fitting these are hoses that have just been cut and we're gonna press on a fitting I'll show you that real close what we've done here we've been these hydraulic kind of fittings right here you get it here twist you notice they're about an eighth of an inch below the crimp [Music] print [Music] so each one of these hoses is dedicated to a certain type of tractor each hose is a certain length they take the hoses run them off this reel down here and cut them on a hose cutting machine then they take them over and they press the crimps on from there the crimps get a quick connect connector or a threaded connector to hook to your tractor so the way the landshark machine works is it only functions one way and we'll get a lot more detail of that once we get into the factory but there's a little hydraulic motor that pushes hydraulic through one end and dumps it out the other end very very simple
