guys today's video is gonna be different we're at landshark USA we're gonna show you how brush cutters are made so guys if this is your first time to the channel welcome to the YouTube channel I'm Josh Stoney Ridge farmer we have a 200 acre farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and we've been working with Land Shark if you didn't catch that video there'll be a link right here you can check that out if you'd like to see that first before we tour the factory or there'll be a link at the end of the video description showing this machine at work on our farm so where we're at right now is what I would call the clean area so all these are hydraulic fittings and all these hydraulic fittings fit different configurations for different tractors right now we're getting ready to press on a fitting these are hoses that have just been cut and we're gonna press on a fitting I'll show you that real close what we've done here we've been these hydraulic kind of fittings right here you get it here twist you notice they're about an eighth of an inch below the crimp [Music] print [Music] so each one of these hoses is dedicated to a certain type of tractor each hose is a certain length they take the hoses run them off this reel down here and cut them on a hose cutting machine then they take them over and they press the crimps on from there the crimps get a quick connect connector or a threaded connector to hook to your tractor so the way the landshark machine works is it only functions one way and we'll get a lot more detail of that once we get into the factory but there's a little hydraulic motor that pushes hydraulic through one end and dumps it out the other end very very simple so why I'm here is volunteered to hook us up a switch to a solenoid just to show you exactly how this works in case you want one of these for one of your tractors those stop button stays on all the time so whenever you go to kick your leg short and that's all you got to do knock it off now if you hit just one button show us what it does is there anything and what you're doing when you hit that button is actuated the valve which is right here yep again folks lots of checks and balances each one of these gets tested to make sure it works before it gets to you this is an American Dream that started out in somebody's garage and now has gone from being a prototype in somebody's garage to being a full-fledged business just a good old boy place to work I can tell now everything's in green so green stands out so when you see that big green brush cutter on the front of your tractor you know it's a Land Shark for sure before we head over to the factory portion that since we're any offices right now they had a few of these parts laying around and I wanted to show you the parts that we have here okay so these are the three different pumps again all made in the USA everything you see here is made in the USA by American workers this is the pump for the smaller horsepower tractor five and a half to eight and a half this is the pump that would run the nine to fifteen and this is the pump that would run the fifteen to twenty gallon so there's not a whole lot of difference in the size but the capabilities of this pump are a little bit stronger now this is the sleeve that connects it to a shaft and that is all built-in right here to this this is actually a hub that you'll see here this is the final assembly that would mount your cutter blades here and these are similar to a standard bush hog type cutting blade except for you could flip these blades over and use them without having to sharpen them every time so this is a nice hardened steel if you were to get into a rock or something like that all you'd have to do is simply unbolt the blade flip it over and you're ready to go again pretty cool these are all the parts just kind of laid out for you guys to understand how all this works let's go to the factory man have some fun [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] alright guys we are in the lane shark factory with Billy Billy tell us about where we're at well with Muscogee technology this is a small flap Department and here we go all right well thank you happiness pretty cool the metal comes in that's all American steel y'all sourced locally here in Alabama and Florida so we're kind of in where they call Florida flora Bama Obama Laura Bama widow but mostly Alabama yeah so right here is a cut-off saw right oh yeah we got to uh we got the automatic salt yeah they cut up you're putting up air dialing in gonna cut a foot long that's what it good okay then we got the manual salt it does more of our angles you know one-on-one manual because you go to the firm as you cut your piece you go with cool girl look at those machines okay we're here with Mike he's been here a year and a half he's on the manual saw he's cutting our angles on her oh my dick back skiing angle you know he's doing what a computer can't dude [Music] all right we have whale station ones we got you we got the shell of the date it comes from my other shop across town they do the cutting on the plasma table they do the bending then it comes to us it's ready for tacking now all right we got Jay beaut Jake's been with the company about two years he does all attacking over decks it's got those got the deck angles got the bottom stiffness when it leaves here is ready for well he takes from A to B in his gun take it to the next wheel station got royal very wound he's attaching swing-off Mike does all her cutting for my sauce we got rolling here he's building a swing on when he leaves here's ready to wheel he's got a tuba six oh that's hot quarter inch tubing starts off like that we do all the cutting of the hole he just takes all the parts on it and it's ready for production now just to clarify this is the heart that the actual landshark swings out in a song has to be the strongest on the whole you got to be rest yeah how long you been here about a year oh yes love it any good oh yeah he's gonna work here we got the finished product the Roy's tax but it leaves his ready to well here it is hi we're well Station three we got a tan here yeah we got to swing on that Roy was attacking tad well he's doing a fine job [Music] [Applause] [Music] I will well station four is where the days give completely finished ready for a house sent outside process we are we do our weld procedure alright then we actually welder we go back and we clean it alright Josh come over here and let me show you when it comes from outside process this is the final assembly line right here we got got mr. Tim here he's our simile guy how long have you been when to come meet him I know he's a good worker he does all our finished product but he leaves here it's ready to go we do he does everything from the stickers to the rope rotating device motors pins when it leaves here volley inspectors and he's headed to the customer so this is the LS to model and it's a four-foot brush cutting machine now these are similar in some ways to a brush cutter that you might find on a skid loader however these are made for tractors either compact tractors midsize tractors farm tractors that's what these are made for and there is no other option like this this is two LS two and it comes with two different size motors depending upon what size tractor and what size hydraulic flow you have and this is the ls3 it's a little bit smaller it's a 3-footer versus a 4-footer you get the smaller rotating assembly here versus the four foot larger rotating assembly now here at the end of the video I'll get you some cool footage of these things at work and I might have been able to incorporate a little cool footage of these things working from a previous video so if you look at the end credits you'll see these things in action you'll get to see what the lane sharks all about and I just want to take you to a place here in America where American workers are using American steel to build quality American products and that's what this is all about we want to thank Bill so much for giving us a tour and this guy over here can you hold in my camera gear this is Tyler Tyler is in charge of the social Media portions you guys have videos out that will cover basically eight of the installation on most tractors is that right you know when we get a Kubota tractor hopefully we get these guys that come back out and show us how to do it on a Kubota tractor that would be really really cool so landshark a great group of guys a great group of people American steel American workers building American products if you know of a company that makes American products have them contact me I'd be happy to come through their factory to show these people these hard-working people how things are made in America thanks a lot guys I appreciate you I appreciate having this tour made in the USA that's what the series is called contact Sony rich farm or go to Stoney Ridge farmer comm check out a Land Shark they're great we'll see more action with Land Shark on the farm very shortly love to have you on the channel found the like button subscribe the channel if you want to see more fun manufacturing stuff like this let me know we're gonna have some fun next place we're going is a fence post factory and then we're going to go to Swisher mowers we're going to go all over the place and show you all kinds of cool fun stuff made by Americans right America we'll see you next time on the Stoney Ridge farm [Applause] [Music] you
