Forestry Mulcher day 1: Turning Brush into pasture

What happens here

The day concludes with the cleared area visible, showcasing the transformation of the overgrown pasture. The operator reflects on the challenges encountered, particularly the difficult nature of the brush (supple and prone to tangling instead of shattering) and the soft ground conditions. He notes that colder, drier conditions would have made the job easier. Despite the challenges, a significant portion of the pasture has been reclaimed, setting the stage for future work. The video ends with the operator (Sam) continuing to mulch into the night.

yeah this brush had been a little colder or a little drier i would have been able to mow through it faster i think but it was just at this stage where it was just starting to come back to life and all of the energy was going back into the branches and so they were becoming supple and so they were starting to twist and bind instead of shattering all right let's see if sam wants the learning hey you want to try this out i figure if we can just clear this area right here then we've got a straight line and we've got we got that much more pasture cleared out crash course you throttle it all the way up then you've got two buttons up there the detent is your auxiliary the what one the detail yeah and then this one right next to it that is your high flow all right first you gotta get your auxiliary going that just turns your power broom or your power bump your forestry mulcher and then you turn it on the high flow to kick it into the next gear now when you get bound up you turn both of those off and then you use the throttle right here to manually rotate the brush the head as you go backwards or forward to unplug it you got to keep an eye on your fuel
