First ceiling install went smooth but we've got a pretty wild application for it coming up next!! 🫣
What happens here
For planks that are slightly warped, or when a particularly tight seam is desired, you may need to use clamps. Position a clamp (such as an F-clamp or quick-grip clamp) with a scrap wood block between the clamp and the previous board to avoid damaging the finished surface. Place the other end of the clamp against the plank you are installing, and gently tighten it to pull the plank tightly against its predecessor. While the clamp holds the board firmly in place, secure it with the nail gun. This technique helps eliminate gaps and ensures a seamless finish.
Goal: Achieve tight, gap-free seams between tongue and groove planks
Tools and materials
